Everyone has a giant invisible backpack strapped to their shoulders—and surely your students, staff, and audience members are no exception. In these backpacks, we carry the thoughts and opinions that other people place on us—things that stop us from loving ourselves and expressing who we truly are.
This program aims to help your students, staff and audience members remove the mental burden on their shoulders and provide them with an empowering outlook on the past, present and future. This is not your typical keynote presentation. This is a performance that includes spoken word poetry, live engagement, and merchandise launched into the audience.
